Simple Routines

Daily Routines

  • 15 minutes in the morning memorizing Scripture (every morning)

  • 15 minutes in the evening reading (every evening)

Weekly Routines

  • Attend church Sunday mornings

  • Sunday ‘Meeting with God’ (see template here)

Bodily Discipline

  • Lights out 10:30pm (work nights)

  • Set wake-up time 5:45am (work days)

  • Physical exercise - at least 2 times a week

  • Practice digital minimalism (see link)

  • Set a personal threshold on TV and video games

  • Set a personal threshold on sugar, caffeine, and alcohol consumption

Spiritual Friendship

  • Meet weekly with a band of brothers for accountability and support

  • Share a rule of life with other guys who are discontent with the status quo

  • Friendship Track: spiritual camaraderie

  • Additional Discipline: Friday Fast during hours of the cross

  • Reading Track: books focused on learning how to pursue radical discipleship in the modern world

  • Friendship Track: spiritual friendship

  • Additional Discipline: Leading a Cross Training group
